What is the Computer Information Technology Minor?

This minor enables managers at any level to understand and use information technology as a resource to improve an organization’s efficiency.

Why study Computer Information Technology at UNH College of Professional Studies?

Students in this minor will have the opportunity to apply technological skills to advance efficiencies and ask critical questions about information and research within the field of information technology.

Curriculum & Requirements

This minor enables managers at any level to understand and use information technology as a resource to improve an organization’s efficiency.
 
Note: This minor may not be declared with the following majors: B.S.Technology Management or B.S. Computer Information Technology (all options).
 
Students will have the opportunity to:
1. Acquire managerial knowledge of informational technology software, hardware and programming.
2. Apply technological skills to advance efficiency of professional settings.
3. Ask critical questions about information and research in the field of Information Technology.

All minor courses must be completed with a minimum grade of C-, and a 2.0 grade point average must be maintained in courses for the minor. Two courses must be at the upper level (600 or 700). Only 8 credits may overlap between major and minor.
