UNH College of Professional Studies

Over 50 years ago, the University System of New Hampshire embraced a powerful goal: no matter where you live, no matter your age or income, if you’re motivated to pursue a college education, you should have access to it. In our earlier days as College for Lifelong Learning, we featured evening and weekend classes that fit the schedules of working adults. We steadily built upon this foundation as Granite State College until merging with the University of New Hampshire in 2023 as the UNH College of Professional Studies. Our core values remain.

The University of New Hampshire brings together students, faculty, and private and public partners to create life-changing opportunities and innovative solutions in our neighborhoods and worldwide. With associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, post-baccalaureate programs for teachers, credit for prior learning, and a variety of transfer opportunities, UNH College of Professional Studies focuses on areas of study that are responsive to the needs of employers.
