Guiding High School Graduates to
UNH College of Professional Studies Online
The University of New Hampshire College of Professional Studies (UNH CPS) Online offers a flexible, affordable
pathway to higher education—ideal for students balancing college with work or personal commitments, or
planning to start at a community college. While UNH Durham and UNH Manchester provide excellent on-campus
experiences, UNH CPS delivers the same UNH quality in a 100% online format. With open admissions, 100+
programs, and a supportive learning environment, students can thrive academically without the need to travel
to campus. For those who’ve taken classes through UNH’s Early College program, our courses, platform, and
support will already feel familiar.
High School Graduates
While many of your high school graduates will be well served by the University System of New Hampshire’s residential public campuses at Durham, Keene, Plymouth, and Manchester, here’s why UNH CPS could be the perfect fit for many others:
We offer competitive tuition rates ($330 per credit, whether they are in-state or out-of-state), which ensures that students can pursue their academic goals without the burden of excessive debt.
Our inclusive admission policy welcomes all students with a high school diploma or equivalent, giving everyone the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their previous academic performance. Students earn the same University of New Hampshire (UNH) diploma as they would from any of the other colleges within UNH.
We understand that many students need to balance their studies with work, family, or other interests. Our flexible schedules and online courses allow students to progress toward their degrees at their own pace. If your high school graduates have the motivation to pursue college, UNH College of Professional Studies will enable their success, whether it’s one course at a time, as they increase their confidence, or for full-time study in one of over 100 undergraduate programs.
Personalized Advising Support
Our experienced academic advising team works with each individual student to provide guidance and assistance on coursework and completing their degree.

Community College Bound Students
UNH CPS Online Pathways bridge the gap to helping community college students achieve a bachelor’s degree.
If you’re supporting students heading to community college, we’re here to help. Our NH Transfer pathways make it easier than ever for Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) graduates to continue their education — saving money and maximizing transfer credits along the way.
With our streamlined transfer process, you can choose from 100+ bachelor’s degree pathways at Keene State College, Plymouth State University, or the University of New Hampshire in Durham, Manchester, or online through UNH College of Professional Studies.

College Application Process
Simplified Admission Application Process
At the UNH College of Professional Studies, we strive to make the admission process as straightforward and
accessible as possible. Here’s what sets our application process apart:
- Free and Quick Application
Our application is free and typically takes just minutes to complete. We understand that your time is valuable,
and we aim to make the process as efficient as possible. - Rolling Admissions
With five terms each year and rolling admissions, you can apply at any time that suits you. This flexibility
allows students to start their educational journey when they are ready, without waiting for traditional
semester start dates. - Minimal Requirements
To apply, you need a high school diploma, homeschool equivalent, or GED. We believe in providing
opportunities for everyone, regardless of their previous academic background. - Transfer-Friendly
If you have earned college credits at another institution, we make it easy to transfer those credits to UNH CPS.
Simply provide your official transcripts, and we’ll evaluate them for transfer. - Support for Military Students
We welcome military servicemembers and veterans. You can request your military training transcripts, such
as the Joint Services Transcript (JST) and Community College of the Air Force Transcripts, to be evaluated for
credit. - Reactivation Option
If you’ve previously applied or taken courses with us and had to take a break, you can easily reactivate your
application if it’s been less than a year. For longer breaks, a new application is required, but we’re here to
support you every step of the way.
